🧨 How a Client from France Was Scammed by GenesisContinentPro and BGtoins – And What You Need to Know

In the ever-growing world of cryptocurrency, scammers are getting smarter, bolder, and more convincing. One of our recent clients — a determined crypto investor from France — reached out to us after falling victim to a sophisticated scam by a platform known as GenesisContinentpro and BGtoin.

This post is meant to shed light on what happened, how these scams operate, and how you can protect yourself.

⚠️ The Setup: A “Too Good to Be True” Platform

GenesisContinentpro and BGtoins.net presented itself as a legitimate cryptocurrency investment platform. Their website was sleek, their emails were professional, and their agents were highly trained in manipulation. They promised sky-high returns and instant withdrawals.

Our client decided to try them out. It started small. A few hundred euros. Then more. As the numbers on the screen grew, so did the excitement. Within a few weeks, the client had deposited a huge lump.

🚨 The Red Flags (In Hindsight)

At first, everything seemed perfect. The client was even able to “withdraw” a small amount — a classic bait technique. But once larger withdrawal requests began, the story changed. Suddenly, there were “KYC verifications,” hidden processing fees, and demands for “unlocking taxes” before any funds could be accessed.

Eventually, the platform locked the account entirely, cutting off all communication.

When the client tried to contact support, the responses became vague, then disappeared completely.

🧩 How We Recovered

At first, it was almost impossible to convince the client that everything he experienced was part of an elaborate scam. He firmly believed the platform was legitimate, especially because they had once allowed him to make a small withdrawal—a tactic often used by scammers to build false trust. What he didn’t realize was that every step, every message, every gain or loss, was being carefully manipulated behind the scenes by scammers using AI and scripted control. But no matter how hard the truth is to accept, our team remains patient, compassionate, and persistent—guiding clients to finally see what they were too hurt or hopeful to admit: it was a scam all along.

Devastated but not giving up, the client reached out to us and we helped analyze the wallet behaviors and assist with critical access support. Taking prompt and informed action gave the client a real fighting chance.

We’ve since added GenesisContinentpro and BGtoin to our Blacklisted Brokers List so others can steer clear.

🔒 Lessons to Learn From This Scam

  1. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
  2. Real crypto platforms don’t charge “withdrawal fees” or “unlocking taxes.”
  3. Always verify platforms before transferring crypto.
  4. Once funds are sent to a scam wallet, recovery is extremely time-sensitive.
